Terms and Conditions – Room Hire

This information covers the terms and conditions that room bookings must adhere to.

Confirmation of Booking
Confirmation of booking is subject to room availability. You will receive confirmation of your booking from Bayswater Fire Brigade within 48 hours.

Room Layout
The large meeting room is set up as ‘U-shape style’ and the small meeting room as ‘Boardroom style’. If you require the room to be set out any other way, you will need to ensure you book and allow enough time prior to your meeting to ensure you can set up the room to suit your requirements.

All furniture must be returned to its original position.

Kitchen and Contents
The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery etc, however it is the responsibility of the hirer to clean up afterwards. Load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on, all other items to be put away.

Facilities – Kitchen
Fully equipped kitchen including oven (with hotplates), microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, glassware.

Tea, Coffee and Milk
The hirer/user must supply consumable items. Bayswater Fire Brigade will not provide tea, coffee and milk.

Cleaning
The room and furniture must be left in a clean and tidy condition. A vacuum cleaner is available in the cleaning cupboard.

Display of Posters
Please don’t stick working papers, posters etc., on any walls within the station. Windows may be utilised for this purpose.

Equipment Required
Prior to the booking, the hirer/user must confirm that any required equipment is available.

Lights, Air Conditioner and Security
When leaving the station, the hirer/users must ensure that the air conditioner/heater and lights have been turned off and all doors are closed securely.

Damage
Hirer/users must cover all costs incurred for any damage to the room and any loss or damage to property or equipment.

Clean Area
The meeting rooms are clean areas and no protective clothing shall be worn. Please observe all signage in the station.

Car Parking
Car parking signage to be observed by users and ensure that brigade carparks are kept free for emergency response.
